Maalwyck Park

Highland Soccer Club hosts all it's recreational games and travel games at Maalwyck Park located next to lock 8 on the Mohawk River.

(From East)
Take the NYS Thruway, take Exit 25 to I-890 west. Take I-890 to Exit 4 (signs for Washington Avenue and Scotia) and turn left at the light in front of Schenectady Community College onto Route 5 west. Take Route 5 over the Mohawk River and just over two miles to a left turn onto Maalwyck Park Rd. This will be just before the light at Corporations Park. 

(From SouthWest)
Take I-88 to the NYS Thruway West. Take the NYS Thruway 1 exit to Exit 26. Follow signs for Rte 5, Scotia, Amsterdam. Highway ends at light. Make a right at the light onto Rte. 5. Follow Rte 5 about 1 mile to next light (Corporations Park). About 15 yards after light make a right turn onto Maalwyck Park Rd.

Take the NYS Thruway to Exit 26. Follow signs for Rte 5, Scotia, Amsterdam. Highway ends at light. Make a right at the light onto Rte. 5. Follow Rte 5 about 1 mile to next light (Corporations Park). About 15 yards after light make a right turn onto Maalwyck Park Rd.

Take the Northway(I-87) south to Exit 12. Turn right at top of ramp onto Rte 67 West. Take left onto Brookline Rd just after going under railroad bridge. Take left onto Rte 50 South at next light. Go 12 miles then turn right onto Mohawk Ave (Rte 5). Follow Rte 5 for a just over a mile to a left turn onto Maalwyck Park Rd.. This will be just before the light at Corporation Park.

Pets: Town of Glenville rules state that all dogs must be on a leash and they are not allowed on the athletic fields

  • Field #1 is a full size that is a little smaller (Primarily going to be used for U14s)
  • Field #2 and #5 are full size fields that can be used by U14 and up
  • Field #3 and #4 are our U12 fields
  • Field #6 and #7 are our U10 fields
